Built for sport. Useful wherever people create value.
Sport first. Then the places where the same commercial questions come up.
Sport is where my experience runs deepest. Rights holders, governing bodies, leagues, teams and event owners are the people I can help most.
But the same questions come up wherever organisations depend on customers, fans, members or partners. So the work travels.
1. Sports rights holders
For sports rights holders: someone who has sat in your seat
You have fans, participants, content, events and commercial relationships. The question is whether they are working as hard as they could.
I help you find where the value is being missed, build propositions that partners will pay for, and win the conversations that matter. You get advice from someone who has sat in your seat.
- Governing bodies, leagues and championships
- Teams and clubs
- Event owners and promoters
2. Stadia, venues and host cities
Stadia, venues and host cities
You host the big days. Let’s earn more from every other day, and prove what hosting is worth.
The problem I hear
- A full calendar, but income that leans on a few events.
- The rights holder often keeps much of the upside.
- Hosting costs public money and the return story is thin.
What I do
- Audit and price your commercial assets.
- Build the business case for hosting, with social value.
- Negotiate with rights holders from the host side. I did it with 21 countries and regions for the WRC.
Usually talking to: venue chief executives and commercial directors, major-events and destination teams, city and regional leaders.
3. Sponsors and brands
Is the deal worth it?
If you are a brand weighing up a sports deal, I tell you whether it is worth it and how to get more from it. If I am already advising the rights holder, I say so before we start.
4. Beyond sport
